New Ravens running back Melvin Gordon may have spilled the beans on why running back J.K. Dobbins isn’t practicing

The Baltimore Ravens haven’t seen running back J.K. Dobbins take the field during 2023 training camp, with many wondering when the fourth-year running back will take the field. He is expected to be a big part of what Baltimore does on offense in 2023, and should have a big role assuming he’s on the field for the Ravens.

There’s been intrigue as to why Dobbins hasn’t been practicing lately, with many speculating it could be due to either an injury or displeasure with his current contract situation. When speaking with Kyle Goon of The Baltimore Banner, new Baltimore running back Melvin Gordon may have spilled the beans on the absence of Dobbins, saying that his teammate is in fact “sitting out”.

“I didn’t even know he’s sitting out, but J.K. is sitting out. They’re not even making a big headline out of it, unless you’re in Indy, I guess. And they got other players sitting out. I didn’t even know J.K. was sitting out until I came here.”
