BET on the PISTONS (-130).
Detroit plays much better at home and New Orleans struggles on the road. The Pistons should also have their star return to action while the Pelicans missing their main scorer is priced into this money line and spread.
The style of play also bodes well for the home side.
Detroit is 29th in field goal rate. Thankfully for the Pistons, the Pelicans allow teams to shoot well from the field as opponents have the 25th-best field goal rate against them.
While the Pelicans are a top-five offensive rebounding team, the Pistons rank 23rd in defensive rebounding rate, which for them is actually a decent place in the standings.
I give the edge to Detroit in this one when considering the location, the players available, and the Pelicans’ inability to defend.
