Pelicans at Bulls picks and predictions

Prediction

Pelicans 125, Bulls 117

Moneyline

PASS.

I like the Pelicans (+105) to pick up the win here as underdogs, but I am not a fan of recommending both the ML and the spread. Pass on the ML, and take the points and/or bet the total instead.

Each team has won 5 of the last 10 head-to-head meetings, making this game close to a toss-up.

If you are okay with the risk of backing the Pelicans on both the ML and the spread, then you can risk 2/3 of your normal wager on the spread and 1/3 on the ML.

Against the spread

LEAN PELICANS +1.5 (-110).

The Pelicans have covered back-to-back games and are 3-0 ATS in their last 3 on the road. New Orleans is also 4-2 ATS in the last 6 meetings.

With Williamson back for New Orleans, I see no way that the Bulls can defend the Pelicans here, so look for him to play better than he did against Boston and be his usual unstoppable self Tuesday.

This is a lean because the Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.

Over/Under

BET OVER 240.5 (-115).

The Over has hit in back-to-back games for New Orleans and is 7-3 in its last 10. The Over has also gone 3-1 in the Pelicans’ last 4 road games.

The Over has gone 8-2 in the last 10 meetings.

Be aware that the Under has gone 7-3 in Chicago’s last 10 games and 20-19 for the Bulls this season.
