A new NIL energy drink, Big Corn Energy, will benefit Nebraska football

Omaha-based Juvenile Brands launched a new NIL energy drink, Big Corn Energy. 25 percent of the profits from the venture will benefit Nebraska football.

According to their website, the share of the profits will disbursed to walk-on players. The amount varies depending on seniority. Here is their profit sharing breakdown:

4th year and up – 40%
3rd year – 30%
2nd year – 20%
1st year – 10%

“Walk-ons bring passion and drive to practice every day, and they help set the tone for Saturdays,” the company wrote via On3. “A strong walk-on program is essential for any college football team looking to consistently win year in and year out.”

Big Corn Energy is currently available on their website. They are sold in 12 packs and fittingly sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. They are also selling merchandise such as coffee mugs and fanny packs.
