LSU picked up a nice boost for its secondary heading into 2024 on Thursday as Ohio State cornerback transfer [autotag]Jyaire Brown[/autotag] committed to return to his home state.
A New Orleans native and four-star recruit in the 2022 class, Brown played his first two seasons of high school ball at Warren Easton before transferring to Lakota West in the Cincinnati area. He committed to the Buckeyes out of high school and appeared in 10 games as a true freshman, totaling eight tackles, three passes defended and a forced fumble.
However, the former top 200 prospect only appeared in four games this fall, registering just a single tackle.

He qualified for a redshirt this season and will join an LSU secondary in need of help. He’ll have three remaining seasons of eligibility with the Tigers.
