2024 four-star defensive lineman Jordan Thomas was in Athens, Georgia, over the weekend visiting the Bulldogs football program. It was his third visit to UGA in 2023, and it appears the Dawgs are the top contender for Thomas.
Over the course of the last few days, a trio of recruiting experts from 247Sports have shared predictions regarding Thomas’ commitment destination. All three forecast he would opt for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Out of Don Bosco High School, Thomas ranks as the No. 96 overall prospect in America and as the top-ranked player in the state New Jersey. He is 6 feet, 5 inches and weighs 296 pounds.
Georgia extended Thomas an offer in May of 2022.
Thomas recently visited Rutgers, another school in the running. He also plans to visit Michigan and South Carolina this month, per On3.
Georgia has the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class for the 2024 cycle, headlined by quarterback Dylan Raiola, the nation’s No. 1 overall player.
Out of the 18 commits in Georgia’s 2024 class, only one plays on the defensive line (four-star Justin Greene).
Thomas has a top 12 of Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Michigan, Oregon, Auburn, Rutgers, Miami, Penn State and LSU.
