New first pitch time for Tennessee-Dayton baseball

A new first pitch time has been announced for the Tennessee-Dayton baseball game Saturday.

No. 2 Tennessee (4-2) will host Dayton (0-4) on Saturday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Saturday’s contest is the second of a three-game series between the Vols and Flyers. First pitch for game No. 2 is slated for 4:30 p.m. EST and can be watched on SEC Network+. Saturday’s original first pitch time was 2 p.m. EST.

Tennessee defeated Dayton, 12-2, in the series-opener on Friday.

The series finale is slated for Sunday at 1 p.m. EST (SEC Network+). Tennessee sixth-year head coach Tony Vitello is suspended for the Dayton series.
