New England Patriots’ odds to win Super Bowl LVI

Analyzing the New England Patriots’ odds to win Super Bowl LVI

The New England Patriots (10-7) reached the NFL playoffs after a one-year hiatus as the sixth seed in the AFC conference. They join 13 other NFL teams focused on Super Bowl LVI, which takes place Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

A seven-game win streak in the middle of the season was bookended by a rough start and shaky finish to the season. New England enters the playoffs with losses in three of its last four games. Rookie QB Mac Jones took over under center from day one and finished with 3,801 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

The Patriots’ ground game featured strong contributions from third-year RB Damien Harris (929 yards and 15 TDs on 202 carries) and rookie RB Rhamondre Stevenson (606 yards and 5 TDs on 133 carries).

New England had one of the staunched defenses in the league, allowing the second-fewest points (303) and finished with the third-best scoring differential in the league (+159).
