Following the Brooklyn Nets’ unimpressive opening night loss, some good news comes out for the team; sharpshooter Joe Harris will be returning for the organization’s second game.
Nets insider Brian Lewis of the New York Post reported the news along with updates on some other roster injuries such as Seth Curry and TJ Warren.
This bit of news comes a day after a report that Harris wouldn’t participate in the team’s season opener. Clearly, the team trusts his recovery and has decided that he’ll be a necessity early this season.
Curry’s recovery is underway after suffering a late-season injury late in the 2021-22 season. He is pretty far in his recovery as he’s been greenlit for live-contact practices, but teammate Warren has a while to go as he isn’t expected to return until November.
The Nets should be grateful that Harris’ recovery has gone so well, as the team needs more efficient offensive shooters.
Joe Harris (left foot soreness) is probable for the #Nets tomorrow. Seth Curry (left ankle – injury recovery) and TJ Warren (left foot – injury recovery) are out. #NBA
