Nets’ Seth Curry undergoes ankle surgery

After dealing with an ankle injury this season, Seth Curry had surgery on his left ankle this week.

Brooklyn Nets guard Seth Curry had successful ankle surgery on Monday to address an issue that caused the veteran to miss several games throughout the season.

Curry managed to play 33.3 minutes per game in the Nets’ playoff series against the Celtics, and shot an impressive 49.3 percent from long-range for the series, averaging 14.5 points per game.

Curry is entering the final year of his four-year, $32 million contract he originally signed with the Dallas Mavericks, and is set to become an unrestricted free agent next summer.

According to the team, Curry is expected to be fully recovered in time for training camp ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season.
