Brooklyn Nets forward Royce O’Neale has been working all summer to get ready for this upcoming season as the Nets look to make the playoffs again. One good thing to note is that while O’Neale has always been one of the harder workers in the NBA, he still knows how to remember that he’s more than just a professional basketball player.
On Friday, O’Neale stopped by the 2023 NBA 2K League All-Star event to check out the action and catch some NBA 2K being played. In one of the pictures in the tweet below, O’Neale shake hands with Greens, whose real name is Tariq Reed, who plays guard for Nets Gaming Crew, the official NBA 2K League of the Nets.
Training camp will be happening soon, but it’s nice to see O’Neale enjoying something other professional basketball as a way to pass his free time. To make the moment even cooler, Greens won the Rookie of the Year award for this season of the NBA 2K League.
