Nets’ Kevin Durant refuses to discuss trade request on New York radio

After a fan called out Kevin Durant on Twitter, a New York radio host asked him to appear on the airwaves, before Durant’s swift response.

After a long and stressful summer for the Brooklyn Nets, it’s easy to assume that the franchise’s fanbase hasn’t just forgotten and forgiven former two-time finals MVP, Kevin Durant.

New York radio host Brandon Tierney of “Tiki & Tierney” tweeted at Durant in an attempt to get him on their show. Durant has kept very active on Twitter and had just responded to a fan, who criticized how the media perceives the slender forward’s skill compared to the future face of the league, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Tierney simply asked if he would hop on his show and discuss all of the drama that happened over the summer. Durant then returned with a very simple response.

The sharpshooting superstar seems uninterested in defending his trade request stance, as he refuses to discuss it in the public. Durant’s image took a big hit this offseason, and it seems that he won’t be apologizing soon.
