Nets GM Sean Marks pens letter to Nets fans

GM Sean Marks says “the best is yet to come” for the Brooklyn Nets.

The 2021-22 NBA season didn’t pan out the way Brooklyn Nets fans had hoped, but general manager Sean Marks is confident that “the best is yet to come” for the organization.

In a letter to Nets fans following the team’s first-round exit from the playoffs, Marks thanked fans for packing the Barclays Center and supporting the team throughout the turbulent year.

Marks has a busy and pivotal offseason ahead of him. Aside from determining the future of head coach Steve Nash, Marks will have to retool a roster set to lose several players to free agency. With an expensive core of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons, Marks won’t have much room for error as he fills out the rotation.
