Nets’ Ben Simmons leaves game vs. Magic with knee soreness

Ben Simmons is considered day-to-day after leaving Monday’s game.

Brooklyn Nets forward Ben Simmons left Monday’s 109-102 win over the Orlando Magic in the second quarter with left knee soreness and did not return. At the time Simmons left with 9:03 left in the second quarter, Orlando was leading 28-27.

Simmons left the game with zero points, four rebounds, and three assists in 11 minutes. He has already missed six games this season while dealing with the soreness in his left knee.

Simmons is currently listed as day-to-day. He is averaging 8.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game in 28.1 minutes per contest.
