Netane Muti’s college highlights are absolutely insane

Broncos guard Netane Muti destroyed defensive linemen in college!

The Denver Broncos selected Fresno State guard Netane Muti in the sixth round of 2020 NFL Draft on Saturday and they might have landed an absolute steal.

Muti (6-3, 315 pounds) is crazy strong (he did 44 bench-press reps at the combine) and he destroyed defensive linemen in college. Here are some highlights from his freshman season in 2017:

Unfortunately, Muti was sidelined for all but six games over the last two years as he recovered from Achilles and Lisfranc injuries. His health struggles from 2018-2019 caused him to have a big drop in the draft.

If he’s healthy now, though, Denver landed a sixth-round gem.

“We felt that we were going to be taking a little bit of a risk with the medical,” Broncos GM John Elway said of Muti after the draft. “But really felt at the top of the sixth round, we were getting tremendous value and it was worth the risk to be able to go ahead and take a chance on him.”
