Neemias Queta makes an impact in Celtics win over Hawks

Neemias Queta impressed in his latest outing for the Boston Celtics.

The Boston Celtics bounced back from their defeat against the Orlando Magic by beating the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday (Nov. 26.) With Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday both missing from the rotation, Joe Mazzulla went deeper into his bench rotation. Delano Banton and Neemias Queta were the two beneficiaries of Mazzulla’s roster selection.

Banton impressed with his size and length, especially when cutting toward the rim for easy buckets within four feet. However, it was Queta who made the bigger impact. The 24-year-old big man provided energy and hustle off the bench, and ended the game with 10 rebounds and seven points to his name.

Following the victory, the “How ‘Bout Them Celtics Podcast” gave their thoughts on the two-way big’s performance, crediting him for stepping into the rotation and playing his role at a high level.
