Nebraska’s athletic director has confirmed the date and time for the spring football game. Trev Alberts announced that the annual contest will occur on Apr. 27 at 11:00 a.m.
Tickets will go on sale on Feb. 6 to season ticket holders, with the general public gaining access on Feb. 7. There are also changes to ticket prices this year, with tickets costing $15 for adults, $5 for high school age and younger, and UNL students will get in for free.
As for the 11:00 a.m. start time, the reason concerns softball and baseball games on the same day. Alberts would like to allow fans to attend multiple sporting events on the same day.
