The Nebraska women’s basketball landed a five-star recruit from the class of 2025. Guard Olivia Hamlin, from Snow Canyon High School in St. George, Utah, announced on Instagram that she is a Husker.
Standing at 5-feet-9, Hamlin is an offensive weapon, averaging 27.5 points per game last season as a junior, leading the Warriors to a 24-2 record and a UHSAA Class 4A state runner-up finish.
Hamlin also contributed an average of 5.1 rebounds, 4.8 steals, and 3.5 assists per game and even scored a career-high game 36 points in the team’s state quarter-finals win.
She’s played varsity all three years at Snow Canyon and made first-team all-state in each season thus far. Her performance in the 2023-2024 also earned her the honor of being named the UHSAA Class 4A Player of the Year.
Hamlin chose Nebraska over Virginia Tech, which finished ranked No. 18 last season. She also held offers from Clemson, UNLV, and BYU. She is currently Nebraska’s only 2025 commit.
