The Nebraska baseball team has accepted an invitation to participate in an early-season event next year. The Huskers will be one of four teams to play in the 2025 Frisco College Baseball Classic from February 28 to March 2.
The Cornhuskers will join LSU, Kansas State, and Sam Houston in the three-day tournament, which will take place at Riders Field, home of the Frisco Roughriders in Frisco, TX.
The Roughriders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. The tournament will feature two games per day, with each team playing in a round-robin format.
Nebraska enters the 2025 season after a successful 2024 campaign. The Huskers finished the year with a 40-22 record, won the Big Ten Tournament, and participated in the NCAA Regionals.
