The Huskers continued their postseason by taking a trip out to Columbus, Ohio for the Big Ten Conference Semifinals. Nebraska clashed with Wisconsin for a chance to head to the championship match. The Huskers tied the Badgers earlier in the season but could not replicate or surpass that previous outcome this time around.

Though Nebraska battled throughout, Wisconsin managed to take the lead and pull away with a 3-1 win. The Huskers outshot the Badgers in the match, 15-10, but only produced four shots on goal, with just one going in. Sarah Weber scored Nebraska’s lone goal, which helped tie the match part way through the first half.

Weber also led the Huskers in shots, producing five in the loss. Wisconsin held Nebraska’s Eleanor Dale to just three shots with one on goal. Wisconsin finished with just one more shot on goal than the Huskers but saw three cross the line for a score.

Nebraska is now 14-3-3 as it now waits for its spot in the NCAA Tournament. The bracket is set to release on Nov. 4 at 4 p.m.
