The Nebraska Cornhuskers have extended an offer to 2024 four-star edge rusher Booker Pickett Jr.
Pickett announced the news on Twitter. “Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Nebraska!” Pickett wrote.
247 Sports Composite ranks Pickett as the 53rd overall prospect in the 2024 class. He attends Wharton High School in Tampa, FL. In his junior season, he had a whopping 24.0 sacks in eight games per MaxPreps.
Pickett has received 33 offers. On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine gives Miami the best odds to land Pickett at 41.4 percent. Ohio State is listed second at 36.2 percent. Nebraska is tied for the fourth-best odds at 1.2 percent.
