Nebraska football cornerback Tommi Hill has declared for the NFL draft. He made the announcement on social media.
Hill came to Nebraska in 2022. He started his career as a cornerback before spending some time at the wide receiver spot. However, 2023 saw him settle in permanently at the corner position. He began to establish himself as a top-tier corner in the process.
The 2024 season saw him continue to be one of the top corners in the Big Ten. However, plantar fasciitis slowed him down throughout the season. Even still, he was able to produce at a high level. All told, he recorded 21 tackles, half a tackle for loss, a pass breakup, and an interception.
Hill was projected as a potential first-round corner before the 2024 season. He still has a chance to be an extremely athletic corner and a playmaker to boot. It will be exciting to see where he ends up in the draft as the Huskers attempt to reload at the position.
