Nebraska basketball added a late transfer for the 2023-24 season on Sunday. Guard Jarron ‘Boogie’ Coleman announced he was joining the Huskers.
Coleman comes to Lincoln after having spent last season at Ball State. Before that, he spent three years in Muncie before transferring to Missouri for a season and then returning to Ball State.
The Indianapolis native was second-team All-MAC last season with 14.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. In his lone season at Missouri, he played in 31 games with 21 starts while averaging 8.6 points, 3.4 rounds, and 2.8 points per game.
The commitment takes the final scholarship available for the upcoming season. As a graduate transfer, Coleman will have one year of eligibility remaining.
