Tennessee’s volleyball team saw its 2021 season come to an end during the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Lady Vols lost a four-set match to Ohio State Saturday at Covelli Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Tennessee lost to the host Buckeyes, 25-18, 14-25, 25-21, 25-21, before an announced crowd of 2,868.
Breana Runnels had 16 kills, seven digs, five blocks and one ace for the Lady Vols (20-10).
Morgahn Fingall added 13 kills, seven digs and six blocks against Ohio State (27-5), while Lily Felts totaled 11 kills, three aces and one assist.
Natalie Hayward was the Lady Vols’ leading passer as she finished the match with 36 assists.
