NBA Twitter reacts to the Nets’ disappointing loss in Philadelphia

What fans and analysts are saying about the Nets’ demoralizing loss in Philadelphia.

The Brooklyn Nets were unable to beat a heavily depleted Philadelphia 76ers squad on Tuesday night, despite the Sixers missing Joel Embiid, James Harden and Tyrese Maxey.

Nets forward Ben Simmons heard boos from Philly fans throughout the entire game, but he did tally a double-double with 11 points and 11 assists.

Guard Kyrie Irving struggled from behind the three-point line, missing six of his eight attempts. As a team, the Nets shot just 9-of-28 from beyond the arc, compared to the Sixers’ 16-for-32.

The Nets were outworked on Tuesday evening in nearly every aspect, and outrebounded considerably, 49 to 35.

TV personality Charles Barkley didn’t hold back when he called the team soft, and fans and analysts sounded off on social media.
