NBA Twitter reacts to Chet Holmgren’s return

After nearly a year, Chet Holmgren made his return to the court.

Monday marked the return of Chet Holmgren following a near year-long absence rehabbing a Lisfranc injury that cost him the entire 2022-23 season.

This year’s first summer league game was almost as memorable as last year’s for Holmgren, as he finished with 15 points, nine rebounds and four blocks in 29 minutes in a 95-85 win over the Utah Jazz.

The No. 2 pick will play a critical role for the Thunder moving forward and is anticipated to make some Rookie of the Year noise next season.

As one can expect, Holmgren’s return left Twitter — or at least what’s left of it — talking. Let’s look at some of the best tweets that reacted to Holmgren’s return as he ramps up to play his rookie season.
