NBA teams to begin re-airing select games during season suspension

Some teams around the NBA will broadcast select games in primetime with the regular season on an indefinite hiatus.

With most professional sports idle around the globe, and many self-quarantined due to the coronavirus pandemic, fans are looking to stay occupied by any means necessary.

Players across the NBA are also looking at different ways to stay busy during the hiatus from creating TikTok videos to playing video games with each other. Boston Celtics rookie Grant Williams even spent an afternoon comparing Space Jam characters to his teammates.

Some help may be on the way for fans and players alike.

The Miami Heat and Orlando Magic announced on Tuesday that their TV providers, FOX Sports Sun and FOX Sports Florida, will be re-airing select games in primetime over the next month. The Heat will begin re-airing games on Wednesday and the Magic will start on Thursday.

Other teams around the league have jumped on board by airing previous games and it will likely be a trend that will continue during the season suspension, which could last until June.
