NBA releases full 82-game schedule for Lakers; 42 games are nationally televised

Here’s the full 82-game schedule for the Los Angeles Lakers’ 2021-22 season.

The wait for the new schedule for the 2021-22 season is finally over.

The NBA released the full 82-game schedule for every team, and Los Angeles Lakers fans will now know what to expect for the new campaign.

Dates that were revealed prior to the full release included the Lakers’ opening day and week schedule with primetime games against the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns.

On Christmas, the Lakers will host the Brooklyn Nets in a matchup between the two favorites from each conference.

With the new trio of Russell Westbrook, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, this is one of the most anticipated seasons for L.A. in quite some time given the stars representing the team.

Here’s the full look at who the Lakers will play:

42 of the games will be nationally televised, which is more than half of the 82 contests and the best figure for any team in the league.

The longest road trip for L.A. occurs in late January with six strong Eastern Conference opponents awaiting.

The last eight games, besides the Oklahoma City Thunder, represent a rough closing stretch for L.A. The end of the season is arguably more imperative than the opening games, so Los Angeles will need to sustain success through the long season and weather the storm for the final stretch.
