NBA Power Rankings: Thunder ranked 27th for the week of Jan. 3 to Jan. 9

The Thunder drop a spot in the @RookieWire power rankings this past week as they went 0-3.

Rookie Wire released its weekly power rankings this past Monday and the Oklahoma City Thunder fell one spot as they went from 26th overall to 27th overall this week:

“The Thunder nearly pulled off another double-digit come back on Sunday, but ultimately fell short against the Denver Nuggets. Despite the team’s recent shortcomings, Josh Giddey continues to dazzle on the court after he was named the Western Conference Rookie of the Month for December.”

The Thunder went 0-3 during the week of Jan. 3 to Jan. 9 — a 98-90 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, a 135-105 loss to the Timberwolves once again and a 99-95 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

During this week, Lu Dort led the team in scoring with 16 points a game, Josh Giddey led the team in rebounds with nine rebounds a game and in assists with 6.3 assists a game.
