NBA players are turning into TikTok stars during coronavirus hiatus

A good way to pass the time.

There’s at least one good thing coming out of the prolonged NBA season being suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic: players are turning to TikTok to keep themselves and the world amused.

So far, I’ve seen some really good offerings from Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Philadelphia 76ers rookie Mattisse Thybulle, very tall Boston Celtics center Tacko Fall and some guy named LeBron James, which of course star his family, the James Gang.

That means we’re about to get months of coordinated dances, funny moments, and some all-around creativity that will hopefully pass the time until basketball is back. Here are a few of the offerings we’ve seen:
