NBA All-Star records LeBron James owns and could add to this weekend

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James already owns a few All-Star Game career records, but he will likely add to that resume on Sunday.

Assists

Like the steals category, Paul remains in front of James and will have an opportunity to increase his lead on Sunday. Magic Johnson is the All-Star Game’s All-Time assist leader with 127, while Chris Paul (106) and James (88) are the only players playing in this year’s game that can realistically catch Johnson’s one day. LeBron needs just 10 assists on Sunday to pass Isiah Thomas for No. 3 All-Time. Given the way LeBron has dished assists in the regular season, he should be in for a big night.
