FOX Sports Radio host Colin Cowherd played his “3-word game” yesterday with some of the notable players entering this year’s NFL Draft.
The segment runs through the names of the topic at hand and Cowherd goes through each one by describing the player or team in three words.
Yesterday’s segment focused on NFL prospects including quarterbacks Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert, Jordan Love and Jalen Hurts, wide receivers Jerry Jeudy, Ceedee Lamb, Henry Ruggs III and Michael Pittman Jr and former Wisconsin Badger running back Jonathan Taylor.
Cowherd’s three words to describe Taylor: “My favorite back.”
“He is the most talented running back since Saquon Barkley in the conference,” Cowherd said. “I think if there’s three running backs in the Big Ten in the last decade where you’re like ‘home run,’ it’s Zeke, Saquon Barkley and Jonathan Taylor.”
He continued to applaud the former Badger’s mix of “burner” speed and ability to succeed in short yardage situations.
There have been many NFL analysts and media members who are lukewarm on Taylor’s NFL prospects due to his workload and occasional ball security issues in college, and as a result like guys such as J.K. Dobbins and D’Andre Swift more than him.
From yesterday’s show, it’s apparent that Cowherd is not one of them.
The NFL Draft is set to begin on Thursday, April 25 with the final rounds scheduled to conclude two days later.
