Wichita State freshman pitcher Nate Snead announced his commitment to Tennessee on Wednesday.
“Next stop, Rocky Top,” Snead announced.
He entered the NCAA transfer portal on June 3.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Snead (1-2) appeared in 24 games, including one start, at Wichita State in 2023. He recorded 53 strikeouts, three saves and a 3.16 ERA in 42.2 innings pitched.
He is from South Milwaukee High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is majoring in sport management.
