In one of 12 MLS games Wednesday night, Nashville SC (6 wins, 1 loss, 9 draws) travels to take on the New England Revolution (11-3-3) at Gillette Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the Nashville SC at New England Revolution odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.
With the CONCACAF Gold Cup finished, MLS clubs will return to full strength. New England will be thankful as that means GK Matt Turner returns to action. With 11 wins on the season, New England is, by far, leading the Eastern Conference.
However, the Revolution get one of their toughest tests yet in a Nashville team that has just one loss through16 matches.
Nashville has allowed just 15 goals through 16 games, partially due to All-Star D Walker Zimmerman. After picking up an injury in international play, it doesn’t appear as though Zimmerman will play against the Revolution, a huge loss for the road side.

Prediction
New England 2, Nashville 1
Money line (ML)
BET on NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION (-133) as they’re the most talented team in the East.
On top of that, they’ve won six of their seven home matches, so they play well at Gillette. Nashville has played a league-high 11 matches at home and has yet to win on the road.
With Zimmerman out, I’d expect the Revolution to be able to break down that Nashville backline. Revolution F Gustavo Bou and F Adam Buksa both rank in the top 10 in goals scored.
New England’s offense is that good and should propel it to victory Wednesday night. The Revolution won each of their last four matches.
Over/Under (O/U)
BET the OVER 2.5 (-133) as, on paper, this is the best offense in the East against the best defense. The lack of an All-Star defender will hurt Nashville enough to make it susceptible to an elite New England attack.
Nashville hit the Over in three of its last five matches while New England played to the Over 2.5 goals in eight of its last nine games.
