Predators at Red Wings: Projected starting goalies
Juuse Saros (3-5-0, 3.47 GAA, .882 SV%) at Thomas Greiss (1-10-3, 3.16 GAA, .891 SV%)
Saros enters with losses in each of his past two outings, and three of four starts since flipping the calendar from January to February. He did not start Feb. 13 against the Red Wings, but he came on in relief of G Pekka Rinne, stopping five of six shots in the third period in a 4-2 loss.
Greiss lost Feb. 11 at Nashville, allowing three goals on 23 shots. He has allowed three or fewer goals in 11 of his 12 starts to date, but he has just one win (Feb. 7 at the Florida Panthers) to show for his efforts. Unfortunately for Greiss, the Red Wings have provided two or fewer goals of support in 12 of his 14 appearances this season.

Predators at Red Wings: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Red Wings 3, Predators 2
Money line (ML)
The RED WINGS (+140) are a value play as moderate underdogs on their home ice. For whatever reason, the Predators have struggled over the years against the Wings, going 3-11 in the past 14 meetings, and 17-35-2 in the past 54 trips to the Motor City. The underdogs are also 8-3 in the past 11 in the series.

Against the spread (ATS)
The Red Wings +1.5 (-200) are way too expensive on the puck line as you have to risk two times your potential return just for a little insurance. Go against the public and bang the Wings at home straight-up.
Over/Under (O/U)
The UNDER 5.5 (-120) is the way to be in this Central Division battle. Nashville has had a hard time scoring goals, going for just 2.3 goals per game to rank 29th in the NHL. It is 23rd on the power play, too, hitting just 15.0 percent on the man advantage.
The Red Wings have difficulty scoring, too, going for just 1.9 goals per game to rank 30th, and they’re also second-to-last in the NHL on the power play at 6.7 percent.
