NASCAR is heading to Texas Motor Speedway for a Sunday afternoon show that hopefully will feature more passing opportunities than last week. The last seven weekends have featured sunny or cloudy skies throughout the racing, with some notable winds in a few of those races. Now, NASCAR hopes to bring that clear weather to Texas on Sunday afternoon.
According to Weather.com, the weather forecast at Texas Motor Speedway calls for a high of 82° and partly cloudy skies on Sunday. On Saturday, the high will be 81° during the day, and the winds could be an issue throughout the weekend. The forecast calls for 22 miles per hour winds on Saturday and 17 miles per hour winds on Sunday.
The sport is ready to take on Texas, representing its only date during the 2024 season. With good weather in the forecast, NASCAR teams and drivers won’t have to worry about delays or postponements. It may be windy, but a few events in 2024 have been the same way. The only race at Texas has arrived, and there are a lot of eyes on the on-track action this weekend.
