NASCAR’s weather forecast for Talladega looks very bad in April 2024

NASCAR’s weather forecast for Talladega Superspeedway looks very bad in April 2024. Check out why the Cup Series may be racing on Monday!

NASCAR has been lucky with the weather after the Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum and the Daytona 500 were postponed or moved to different days. The last eight race weekends have gone well, as Mother Nature hasn’t tampered with any of NASCAR’s top 3 levels. However, this appears to be changing ahead of the race weekend at Talladega Superspeedway.

According to Weather.com, the weather forecast at Talladega Superspeedway calls for a 90% chance of rain on Sunday, which is currently projected to end in the late afternoon hours. If this forecast doesn’t change, NASCAR will be forced to run the Cup Series race on Monday because Talladega does not have lights for racing at the facility.

As for Saturday, it is projected to be cloudy, but there is a chance for rain showers throughout the day. Talladega’s forecast for Monday looks good, with a high of 70° and sunny skies. If the forecast doesn’t change over the next 72 hours, NASCAR could be faced with another superspeedway event taking place on Monday afternoon.
