NASCAR’s weather forecast for Gateway and Portland in June 2024

Take a look at NASCAR’s weather forecast for World Wide Technology Raceway and Portland International Raceway in June 2024!

NASCAR is heading to World Wide Technology Raceway and Portland International Raceway for an exciting weekend of racing. The Cup and Truck Series will take on Gateway, while the Xfinity Series travels to the West Coast for Portland. Based on the forecasts, there should be optimism that all three races will be run in their entirety, unlike last weekend in North Carolina.

According to Weather.com, the weather forecast at World Wide Technology Raceway calls for a high of 83° and a 10% chance of rain on Sunday. As of Meanwhile, Saturday’s forecast calls for a high of 75° and a 90% chance of rain. This means a lot of the action on Saturday morning, including the Truck Series race, may be delayed. However, the rain will stop by 4:00 p.m. ET.

The weather forecast at Portland International Raceway calls for a high of 70° and a 15% chance of rain on Saturday. There will be cloudy conditions, but NASCAR shouldn’t see any issues with the Xfinity Series event. After last weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the lack of rain in the forecast is a good thing outside of Saturday morning, which might cause some trouble.
