NASCAR is set to arrive at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the 21st weekend of the 2024 Truck Series season. It will be the only date at the venue, as the Truck Series only goes to Homestead once per season. This will be a crucial event as it represents the second Truck Series race in the Round of 8 during the NASCAR playoffs.

First, the Truck Series needs to qualify for the event at Homestead, and the qualifying format is simple. The session will be one round that features single-lap runs. The metric system determines the qualifying order, and the drivers go out from the worst to best ratings. Unlike the NASCAR Cup Series, there are no groups outside of superspeedways and road courses.
