NASCAR has released its penalty report from the race weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway and Portland International Raceway in June 2024, and there isn’t much present outside of one driver. NASCAR gave Kyle Weatherman a $25,000 fine for a behavioral issue. Weatherman made “contact with another vehicle on pit road after the race” in the Xfinity Series.
According to FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass, Weatherman ran into Ryan Sieg on pit road after the Xfinity Series race at Portland. The driver of the No. 91 car finished in 25th place, while Sieg finished in 14th place. After NASCAR revealed the penalty, Weatherman posted a clip on social media, apologizing for “embarrassing” actions on pit road.

As for the races at World Wide Technology Raceway, there are no penalties in the NASCAR Cup and Truck Series. Austin Cindric won the Cup Series race, while Corey Heim won the Truck Series event. Overall, it was a good weekend from Gateway and Portland, even though Weatherman was fined $25,000 for his actions after the event on Saturday.
