NASCAR looking at Dodger Stadium for a possible race date in the future

NASCAR is reportedly looking at Dodger Stadium for a possible race date in the future. Could NASCAR race at Dodger Stadium in 2025?

NASCAR has been bold with its schedule over the last few years, as demonstrated by the Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum, Chicago Street Course, and more. In fact, NASCAR wants two international races in Canada and Mexico for the 2025 season. However, the latest report on NASCAR’s ambitions has nothing to do with an international event.

According to the Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern, NASCAR has been in discussions with the Los Angeles Dodgers about running a race at Dodger Stadium in the next few years. This comes as the Los Angeles market could lose the Busch Light Clash, which could be on its way to Mexico. It’s currently unclear if NASCAR could go to Dodger Stadium in 2025.

This would be an amazing idea as NASCAR’s future in the Los Angeles area is murky. The Busch Light Clash appears to be leaving while Auto Club Speedway is possibly being turned into a short track. NASCAR needs to reach new fans and keep them in place. Racing at Dodger Stadium would be one way to keep fans and elevate it to the next level.
