NASCAR included in new sports streaming app with ESPN, FOX, Warner Bros

NASCAR is included in a new sports streaming app by ESPN, FOX, and Warner Bros. Discovery that will launch in late 2024.

ESPN, FOX, and Warner Bros. Discovery are teaming up to create a mega sports streaming app that will be released in late 2024. The app will include offerings from at least 15 different networks with America’s most popular professional sports. One of those popular sports is NASCAR, which has a deal with two of the three media partners.

In 2023, NASCAR announced that NBC, FOX, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Amazon will be a part of the sport’s new media TV deal that will run through the 2031 season. Due to the agreement of two partners, NASCAR will be available on this new app, but not when the NBC Sports portion of the season begins for the final 14 races starting in 2025.

Overall, this is a welcomed announcement by NASCAR fans as the first 24 races, every practice session, and every qualifying session will be available on the new app in 2025. It may not be the sport’s entire media package, but it will create more opportunities for fans to watch the sport. At the end of the day, that is very important for NASCAR’s reach.
