NASCAR is fresh off an exciting weekend of racing at Darlington Raceway, where the sport saw Brad Keselowski beat Ty Gibbs for his first Cup Series victory in 110 races. Now, the racing series is set for North Wilkesboro Speedway. The Cup and Truck Series will participate on track, so let’s take a closer look at the entry lists released for North Wilkesboro.
In the Cup Series, there is one significant change after a 36-car field at Darlington. Timmy Hill will drive the No. 66 car for MBM Motorsports in the Open. Meanwhile, Kaz Grala (No. 15 for Rick Ware Racing) and A.J. Allmendinger (No. 16 for Kaulig Racing) are the two drivers for the teams with no full-time driver and a charter.
All-Star race will have 20 cars. There are 17 entries locked in and then two will come from the Open (20 entries) and final from fan vote. 16-Allmendinger entered in main event. In Open: 15-Grala 66-THill pic.twitter.com/WVLCvQMXw5

The Truck Series will feature some notable starts from veteran and young drivers. Ross Chastain (Niece Motorsports) and Aric Almirola (Hattori Racing Enterprises) will make starts, with Brenden Queen (TRICON Garage) and Dawson Sutton (Rackley W.A.R.) making their NASCAR debuts. Overall, two drivers will miss the show with 38 entries at North Wilkesboro.
The race weekend in North Wilkesboro will begin on Friday, May 17. NASCAR is returning to North Wilkesboro for its only date of 2024, and everyone is excited to see who can win on the freshly paved and historic race track!
