NASCAR is fresh off an exciting weekend of racing at Richmond Raceway, where the sport saw Denny Hamlin beat Martin Truex Jr. for his second victory of the season. Now, the racing series is set for Martinsville Speedway. All three NASCAR levels will participate on track, so let’s take a closer look at the entry lists released for Martinsville.
In the Cup Series, there is one significant addition after a 36-car field at Richmond. MBM Motorsports will enter the No. 66 car, but no driver has been named yet. Meanwhile, Kaz Grala (No. 15 for Rick Ware Racing) and Johs Williams (No. 16 for Kaulig Racing) are the two drivers for the teams with no full-time driver and a charter.
The Xfinity Series sees an influx of young and veteran drivers, with Taylor Gray and Aric Almirola running for Joe Gibbs Racing. Most notably, Matt DiBenedetto (Viking Motorsports) goes for his second straight start, while Carson Kvapil (JR Motorsports) debuts in the Xfinity Series. Overall, one driver will not make the show with 39 entries at Martinsville.

Finally, the NASCAR Truck Series returns to action this weekend. William Sawalich (TRICON Garage) and Sammy Smith (Spire Motorsports) are the two young guns making select starts. Meanwhile, Jack Wood returns to the No. 91 truck for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing. Overall, every driver will make the show with 33 entries at Martinsville.
The race weekend in Martinsville will begin on Friday, April 5. NASCAR is returning to another short track, and everyone is curious how it will look after the Martinsville, which has struggled in the NextGen car.
