NASCAR is fresh off its season’s opening weekend, and Atlanta Motor Speedway is up next. The sport travels to Georgia for a second straight week of superspeedway racing. All three NASCAR levels will participate on track, with an abnormally small field in the Truck Series. Let’s take a closer look at the entry lists released for Atlanta.
Kaz Grala (No. 15 for Rick Ware Racing) and Josh Williams (No. 16 for Kaulig Racing) are the two notable entries in the Cup Series. Grala raced in the Daytona 500, but it was for Front Row Motorsports. As for Williams, he started the year at the Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum. Also, B.J. McLeod and Live Fast Motorsports return as the only open entry.
In the Xfinity Series, it’s more of the same Ryan Truex (No. 19 car) and John Hunter Nemechek (No. 20 car) return for Joe Gibbs Racing. Meanwhile, Jeffrey Earnhardt will drive the No. 26 car for Sam Hunt Racing. They are the most notable entries in the Xfinity Series, with a field of 38 drivers. No one will go home, barring any late entries.
