Najee Harris isn’t working out for Alabama’s Pro Day on Tuesday. That doesn’t mean he isn’t willing to do whatever it takes to be there for his teammates who are participating, however.
In fact, Harris was willing to go above and beyond to ensure that happened.
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, Harris saw his flight get canceled from Dallas to Birmingham due to a lightning storm. Instead of accepting defeat, he hopped in a car and made a nine-hour drive in order to get to Tuscaloosa.
Alabama RB Najee Harris’ flight from Dallas to Birmingham was cancelled last night due to lightning, so with no other travel options available, Harris drove nine hours to make it to Alabama’s Pro Day by 10 am today. He’s not even working out today but wanted to support teammates.

That is beyond amazing, but for anyone who knows Harris, it isn’t a surprise. He has been an incredible representative for the university since his arrival prior to the 2017 season.
