Myles Garrett was the NFL’s leader in sacks entering Week 12. The Browns defensive end quickly added to his tally in Sunday night’s matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. In the process, Garrett etched his name in the Browns record book.
Garrett tied the team’s single-season sack record when he blasted through three Baltimore blockers to chase down QB Lamar Jackson on the Ravens’ first drive. It was his 14th sack of the season. That ties Reggie Camp for the most sacks in Browns history in a single season.
It took Camp 16 games to hit 14 sacks back in 1984, a year where Clay Matthews also bagged 12 sacks while rushing from the other side. Garrett hit it in the first drive of the Browns’ 12th game.
