Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett missed Wednesday’s practice in Berea with an undisclosed illness. Head coach Kevin Stefanski revealed that Garrett was not practicing during the coach’s press conference prior to practice.
Stefanski made a point of noting that Garrett was not placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. He agreed with the statement that Garrett’s status is analogous to Odell Beckham Jr.’s situation earlier this season. Beckham was sent home with an illness that was not COVID-19 and wound up being fine to play.
Three Browns were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list just before Stefanski took to the Zoom podium. Starting right tackle Jack Conklin, kicker Cody Parkey and long snapper Charley Hughlett join offensive lineman Chris Hubbard and fullback Andy Janovich on the list.
