Spartans football is back.
Michigan State football will open up the 2023 season on Friday night in a home matchup against Central Michigan from Spartan Stadium. This will mark the first game for both the Spartans and Chippewas this year.
Michigan State enters this matchup as a two-touchdown favorite but there are many question marks surrounding the Spartans after finishing 5-7 last year. Central Michigan is also looking to rebound in 2023 after going 4-8 last year.
