Michigan State football is the latest major program to extend an offer to a 2026 linebacker prospect from Iowa.
Kasen Thomas of Sioux City, Iowa announced on Tuesday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Thomas made the announcement via social media platform X.
Thomas is rated as a three-star prospect on 247Sports. He is ranked as the No. 40 linebacker and No. 5 player from Iowa in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class.
Michigan State is one of four programs to extend an offer to Thomas, according to 247Sports. The three other programs to offer him are Iowa, Iowa State and Kansas State.
